THE PHILOSOPHY
BEHIND ADOT
At the heart of Adot is a deep and meaningful premise that aims to heighten the awareness of one’s true self and the relationship we have with the world around us.
Often, it is our conditioning to see the dot in everyday life. The small difference against the big sameness. This could be the difference between me, you and them that defines us as separate.
Or the greater separation that materialises between people, religions, nations and lands. History has shown that this difference has repeatedly led us to be consumed by our individuality. Neglecting the sameness created an epidemic of disconnect.
“What do you see?” is not just a question, but a meditation. It is an idea and understanding that pertains to the wellbeing of humanity. A constant effort to empower the humanistic and compelling character traits we posses to focus on the similarity that exist between us all.
A reminder to strip away the context that differentiates us from one another. To identify with each other irrespective of gender, colour or race. Enabling us to see that our hopes, fears and love for each other are all shared as one.
Adot is an attitude that we should embrace the world with. To make global challenges personal as if they are your own.
